Immunisations
We offer a full range of immunisations - by appointment - please let staff know if you need an immunisation so they can book it with our nurse.
All children having immunisations are to be seen by a doctor prior to having any immunisations.
Childhood Immunisations
Immunisation from an early age is highly recommended for all Australian children, as it offers protection against the most serious childhood infections. The national immunisation program provides information on the routine childhood immunisations recommended for children in Australia and the schedule coincides with routine childhood health check guidelines.

Flu Vaccinations
All patient are to see a Doctor before having the flu vaccine either given by the Dr or nurse.
To be eligible for the free Government Flu Vaccine you need to have the following:
All pregnant women eligible for flu vaccine
- pregnant women are eligible for a free whooping cough vaccine (between 28-32wks is recommended)
All Aboriginal children aged 6 months to less than 5yrs of age
All Aboriginal persons aged 15yrs & older.
Anyone aged 65 years and older.
Chronic disease ie. Cardiac disease, diabetes, asthma, - please enquire with the receptionist if you have any queries for eligibility

Results
Patient are asked to contact the surgery to receive test results and make an appropriate appointment as indicated by doctor request. Urgent matters will be dealt with by the requesting doctor. Clinical nurses are available to provide advise if appropriate, in the absence of doctor availability.
