Dr Samantha Shih (Registrar)

MBBS, GDCH

I first came to Australia to pursue my medical degree at the University of Adelaide and then continued my medical training here in South Australia. Adelaide has now been my home for the last 10 years. I’ve been fortunate to have worked in many different hospitals in both metropolitan and rural settings. I previously worked in general practice at Murray Bridge – during this time I gained experience in managing a wide range of severe chronic diseases and have developed a strong interest in preventative care, and good chronic disease management. I also enjoy providing quality antenatal care and improving women’s health. I previously worked at the Women’s and Children’s obstetrics and gynaecology department and am also pursuing further training in women’s health with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I also enjoy providing care for paediatric patients – To improve my paediatric clinical care, I worked at the paediatrics department at the Women’s and Children’s, and also completed an additional graduate diploma in child health. In my free time, I like to go out and explore nice new eating spots and cafes
