Dr Jacqui Wagner

GENERAL PRACTITIONER OBSTETRICIAN
GP Obstetrician/Shared care provider: Delivering and admitting rights at Mt Barker Hospital.
Graduating from her medical degree in 2012, and gaining her Fellowship of General Practice in 2017, Jacqui has a passion for providing comprehensive care across a wide range of women's and children's health needs. With an interest in preconception care, Jacqui offers personalized guidance for couples planning for pregnancy and supports individuals experiencing difficulty conceiving. Jacqui also has an interest in investigation and management of recurrent miscarriage, antenatal care, post-partum care, and tailored health services for children, particularly those under the age of 4, with a caring and patient-centred approach.
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Jacqui has a keen interest in breastfeeding, offering support to new mothers navigating lactation challenges and promoting successful breastfeeding journeys.
Jacqui brings extensive experience in contraception management, with particular expertise in IUD insertion and care.
A registered Shared Care provider, Jacqui is also actively involved in providing intrapartum care at Mt Barker Hospital, supporting women through their labour and delivery experiences. In addition, Jacqui is committed to supporting women's health, helping patients manage issues such as painful or heavy periods, as well as offering expert care for those navigating perimenopause and menopause.
With her certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, Jacqui also conducts full skin checks and excisions as required.
When not at work, Jacqui enjoys spending time with her husband and three children in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
